how to improve battery life in Samsung galaxy y

Hi, friends last month I just bought Samsung galaxy y I like this very much as it is very low price and still having awesome features and I love to play games in it and watch movies I use mobile whole day, so the problem is that because it is used a lot so the battery gets drain very fast and I have to charge it again and again so guys please tell me some methods by which I can use my battery for more time.

First adjust your brightness make it little low means make it view not bright and remove the running processors which are not needed because it consume battery unnecessarily.

I take lots of measures to keep my battery working for long time. Such as Turn off Wifi, gprs and Bluetooth if it’s not needed, install I widget of 3g unable and disable and also turn off mobile when it not needed means when it is on standby. And also do not use live wallpaper such as animated and delete unneeded widgets. This saves lots of battery now my battery last shows full charging even on next day of charging.

You should not make the use of killer because phone takes more battery on doing killer task so always make sure you close all the application when you don’t need it.

I usually take all the above precaution to keep my battery charge in my Samsung galaxy y in have installed cputner and configure two profile my battery when screen on 836 MHz and when on 312 MHz.
Also I have installed juice defender it disable data connection such as 3G GPRS when Wifi is on. Also it disable radio data when wifi is on. So my battery last for 2 days on fully used.

Also never use task manager as it use lot of battery and RAM. And so my battery last for about more than 3 day as I don’t use more than messaging and receive some calls.

Juice defender is cool get it, it’s worth I use my battery for 12 hours continues for doing things like playing games, web surf, messaging, listening music and watching video and the result of my battery was only one point less.

I have faced the same problem. I have made the following steps :
1. Lowering the screen brightness upto 50% or 51%
2. Unchecked the background data from the settings
3. Use 2X Battery Saver
4. Disabled the Packet Data when it is not needed
