Sony Vaio VPC-Z2 got scratches on palm rest

I am using the Sony Vaio VPC-Z2 from few days and today, I noticed that there are a few straight scratches lying on the palm rests. Most of them are on the corner of the keyboard and touch-pad. I am not sure about this but think that this is because of the parts of the bezel. I am using this from a few days only and then also it starts showing me scratches. If I look at in sideways then it looks like I am using this from last many years. Is this only me who is facing this problem or there are some other people as well who are with the same problem. Please reply with your experience with this.

I am also using the same from few days and can see those lines as well but that is very minor. This is not as bad as you have written. I hope it not to happen with me.

I think that you people are not using the supplied cloth with this. In my case, I am using that between the screen and keyboard and unto now, there is no scratches to that. However there are some scratches on the base of it but that is due to my mistake as I put this anywhere without caring that if that place is rough or not.

This is normal if you are using that toughly. You must handle this with care otherwise you are surely going to get the issues like this. Dont think that this will be considered in the warranty. If it really annoys you the most then it will be better for you to change the body of that with a new one.
