how to install alarm/clock (deskclock.apk) for lg revolution.

i am using lg revolution for past times and interested in downloading more apps and trying them. recently i came across alarm/clock app which will prove beneficial for me. however i don't have an idea about making a install of it. i found it in the v4 zip provided by mt, but i am unable to actually get it to install. it's a different version and it doesn't work in gingerbread. for this to have a install whether there is a need to delete the deskclock.apk that comes with gingervolt,?anybody who has done this can reply for the same.

the first solution will be to just make a install of it and then try. but it seems no easy in your case according to your description. i should recommend you to try by pasting the install into system/app folder on your phone. for this to work You need to make use of something like Root Explorer and to do this, and you must make sure of the r/w box in Root Explorer so that you are able to paste the apk into the system/app folder.

there are problems regarding the same and i should say that don't make an attempt for directly installing it, just paste it into the folder which was listed in the previous post . I don't have an idea about the working of it as I am at present trying to get the OTA to come, and unable to test!

i also need the same app as it has wonderful features and as far as i consider it is the best alarm clock and and I have also asked for the apk.anyone knows the procedure to have it in our device as it doesn't install in an easy manner.
