Cant get wii motion plus to work

So I got Legend of Zelda Skyward Sword and a wii motion attachment to go with my controller. The problem is every time it asks me to set up the controller with the attachment and the nunchuk, it will calibrate and seem to work fine for a few seconds before all motion control stops. It then asks me to set up the controller again and recalibrate. What could be wrong, wii sports seems to work fine with the controller without motion plus... any ideas?

Well the above mentioned issue could be happening because the Wireless router might be interfering with the Wii Motion Plus. If you are having wireless router then you should turn off and tell me about the results.
Also you can get another one from the friend of yours and see whether the issue is persisting or not.
If none of the above mentioned things are not working than you should contact the service center.

Well I tried switching the wifi off around the house and it did seem to work for maybe a couple seconds longer but the problem was still there more or less. Ill try asking a friend asap. Cheers for suggestions.
