What clock generator is being used in Acer Aspire 5750?

I am having Acer Aspire 5750 laptop from past couple of months. The clock speed of CPU is of 2.1 ghz and I wanted to overclock the processor of mine. but I am not aware of clock generator which I am using. Let me know if you are having idea on the above mentioned matter. Thanks a lot in advance.

After going through the requirement of yours I would like to tell you that the CPU which you are having on the computer is having speed of 2.1Ghz. I am expecting that it will give better performance. If you consider the Sandy Bridge CPU clock then they are supposed to tightly linked hence you will not be able to raise the base clock to overclock up to few Mhz not more than that.
It could be possible that the notebook of the same model will have the different clock generator used on the different machines.

I do agree with the point that one cannot overclock the CP. However you can upgrade the CPU of yours. there are lots of CPU available in the market which you can purchase.
There are people who are using SetFSB. So you can try it. Though I have not used above mentioned utility. You can get SetFSB from the official website.
