Mouse pointer freezes and cannot click anything HP Pavilion dv7

From last some months I am using HP Pavilion dv7 laptop and I am facing problem with my laptop. Now whenever I start my laptop at that time worked fine and then after starting up all the items in my laptop mouse pointer freezes in my laptop. This problem is annoying for me. I cannot click anything. What should I do to solve this problem?

I can suggest toy two solutions to solve this problem.

First solution is to do the system restore. Click on the start menu and then all programs. Now after that select the accessories and then select the system tools and then continue with the system restore and after doing that your problem will get solved.

Another solution is to update the BIOS. First download the BIOS update file from the internet and after that you have to update the BIOS in your HP Pavilion dv7 and after updating the BIOS in my laptop all the things started working normally.

I have first done the system restore in my HP Pavilion dv7 and after doing the system restore also I was getting the same problem and then I have update the BIOS in my HP Pavilion dv7 laptop. Now after updating the BIOS in my laptop all the things started working properly. Thank you for helping me.
