Acer Aspire 1830-3595 laptop battery life

Hi, I am about to have this laptop after some days but before that i was thinking to confirm about its battery life, because that’s the only thing i am concerning about. Thus the guys who are having this machine please let me know how is the battery life of the laptop. any suggestion will be appreciated.

I hope you must be aware as the laptop that you have mentioned has 6-cell Lithium Ion battery which is consider to be very good batteries when it comes to notebooks, and which gives very good performance. As far as this machine is concern, I would say you can have very good battery life up to 5 hours of moderate use even. Thus i would say if you are looking for a notebook then it will be quite to have, in fact according to me it’s a best pick ever.

If i would rate this laptop so only because of its Light weight , Product finished and color, its battery life - 6 hours + and lastly Perfect 11.6" bright screen.

I also have the 1830-3595 laptop and the battery on mine is rated at 5800mah, which appears to be the same to the battery size of the timelinex 11.6" series but for some reason, i’m also getting actually awful battery life. at most windows will show max run time 4.5hr from a full charge. I’m starting to believe it's the 3g QUALCOMM that drains the battery even though it's not being used. i wish there's a way to turn that chip off entirely, but regardless of that the laptop works fine with good battery life.

Though you have mentioned like you have problem with the chipset only but still after using it moderately with Bluetooth and WIFI it used to cause problem. Thus according to me it would be better if you get another machine rather than this one.

See i am not sure about the battery life but still there are so many positive points that you can consider about the machine such as its great size, superior than an average netbook but still ultra-portable. Keyboard is full-size and has good feedback, and screen is vivid and effortless to read. extremely lightweight, and yet still sporting an i3 processor rather than a weak Atom or E series.

But still the thing that i didn’t liked about the machine is the low amount of RAM for running with the included operating system. Along with this HD videos stutter in VLC until you futz with the settings.
