Panasonic PV-GS31 Camcoder, How to capture movie with Date/time

    Hi,

    I have Panasonic PV-GS31 Camcoder.

When I record movie with it, it shows Date/Time in it.

I want to know, how can I get that Date/time when I capture that movie from DV to PC. I could Not find any setting in the Camcoder.

Does anyone know if this can be done with some software.

    Please help.

    Thanks,
    Hardik

Re: Panasonic PV-GS31 Camcoder, How to capture movie with Date/time

I got this updates from the camera manual which will help you to set the date and time and enable them at the time of video recording or image click.

    Setting Date and Time

Since the internal clock of the Camcorder has a slight imprecision make sure to check the time before recording.

    Set to Tape/Card Recording Mode.
    1. Set [ BASIC] >> [ CLOCK SET] >> [YES].
    2. Move the Joystick Control [◄] or [►] 35 to select the item to be set. Then move the Joystick Control [▲] or [▼] 35 to set the desired value. Year will cycle in the order of : 2000, 2001, ..., 2089, 2000, ...
    3. Press the Joystick Control 35 to finish setting the date and time. The clock operation starts from [00] second. If the built-in battery is weak, the [ ] Indication flashes. In this case, charge the built-in battery. The clock uses the 12-hour system. The Date and Time function are driven by a built-in lithium battery. Make sure to check the time before recording because the built-in clock is not very accurate.
