I tell you; yesterday I bought the HP Mini 210-1028LA and I loved it as a netbook, the only problem was that came with Windows 7 Starter, so I want to change it to Windows XP Professional, well esque thing when installing Windows XP, I detected no disc .. I started to find out about it and because it automatically detects SATA drives, and to be detected must be changed in the BIOS, but that is the problem, enter the BIOS does not go anywhere in SATA configuration or anything...
I recently purchased an HP Mini netbook 210-2100 poop that came with the Windows 7 Starter, the next day from the HP website to see if they were the drivers for Windows XP and I was surprised to find that there were, HP does not support Win XP on this netbook at the end I did was see the make and model of graphics card, wi-fi card, sound card etc and look for drivers on the pages of those marks.
HP equips the Mini Note 2140 but with 2 GB of RAM from: But that brings no speed increase compared to a netbook with 1 GB and XP - Vista sucks too loose on the 2 GB without speeding. In PC Mark 05 reaches the HP Mini Note 2140 therefore 1561 points - a typical netbook result.
