In Motorola Motoactv, how to create additional or custom activity types

I am also having this device and really I am very happy to having this type of the device for listening the music while working out time. But now, I am thinking to use this device for activities other than just the 5 or 6 activity types listed. For example, monitoring heart rate and calories burned during strength training or other types of cardio activities. For that reason, I have also searched on the so many of the site but still I didn’t get the way to do this thing. And for that I am here in the hope that someone will really help me over here. Please tell me that if possible to add a few more generic ones.

Dude, I am not having the new Motorola Motoactv yet. In your case, I will say that this will be good idea to do this addition activities with your device. And for doing this, I will suggest you to check online and download workout routines. For that you will need to create your own, and then put it on an SD card and pin point in the equipment. I am not sure about this all things because I am not having this device but for that you can also confirm from the Motorola Motoactv official site and hope that they will help you to suggest you in this case. And for your thinking, I will say that this is very great idea and me also will like an activity for strength training.

Yes, before this I was using Garmin Forerunner for the route guidance. And I will be very happy if they include this activity also to the Motoactv. And also here for adding the more activities, I will say for:

• Add waypoint / simple direction nav on the device itself
• Adding a stopwatch and timer/alarm to the time app would also be nice.

For the Watch Function:

• alarm and stopwatch
• Timer Countdown

And for Interval Notification:

• Local Sunrise
• Local Sunset
• Multiple Timezones

• Add grade to burned calories calculation - it can be a user-selected option,
• Add current time to metrics Make drag gesture less sensitive,
• I agree with those watch functions: simple stopwatch, timer, maybe alarm.
• User selected feedback volume.
• Touchscreen lock

Yeah, great steps dude. I have tried with this but still I am not able to get the proper setting to create the additional or custom activity. Thanks for replying me about this.
