For LCD Density does Rooting Required on HTC Vivid

Got this phone this week really love it all the features I slimily feels this is one of the greatest phone I have ever saw however I like to ask this to all the folks out of Curiosity would be keen on to dropping the LCD density a bit 4.5" display is big sufficient to create a huge difference. Is there anyways to do so I would really glad to know this is there anyone here can assist me on doing this does anyone already did this I would like to know this

Yes you are absolutely right you need to root your phone in order to do so . it is actually necessary the phone should be rooted for LCD Density so Yes it does require root.

I am sorry I asked this foolish question as I dint remember what I did on my Dell streak which was rooted from day one , so couldn't keep in mind what did and did not require root.

Changing LCD density settings on Your Android phone almost on the fly smaller number means better resolution. I have Galaxy Tab It's value noting that the Galaxy Tab and Vivid have the same Pixel Density (240) you can be expecting scaling on par with for myself, I believe i'd be glad at 200, perhaps 180
