Need to redeem iPod touch warranty for a bright spot

I have just purchased the iPod touch 4th generation. It is at rest under warranty, together consistent with ordinary sense. However now I have noticed that there is a bright spot on top left corner. I have heard that this is a common problem in lots of ipods. Do you think that my iPod can be replaced under warranty. Will I get the new one without bright spot. It is actually irritating, and noticing that lots of people have this problem, certainly Apple would restore these.

The warranty is valid 1 year from Apple and should be independent of where you bought it. Than take it to an Apple-authorized, will provide them repaired or if you are lucky enough to replace it.
