Yes same things are happening with me. When I came to know about the free application announced by the SIM which includes applications and games like SIMS 3 - Electronic Arts, Shazam Encore , Bubble Bash 2 , Drive Safe.ly Enterprise, Photo Editor Ultimate, Vlingo Plus: Virtual Assistant. Now after that I have also tried to download the applications at that time it was showing that this are still paid application. I don’t know what is wrong.

As far as I know this applications and games are available until December 31, 2011.

I think you should contact the blackberry support and ask them about this free applications issue because I have searched on the internet regarding this issue and I have find that some of users experiencing the same problem and some of the users are getting the application for free. You should contact the blackberry support and then ask them about this issue.
