Proximity sensor of Samsung Focus not working after mango update

I have noticed that proximity sensor of Samsung focus is not working at all, that’s what I am saying here. Now when the phone is ringing, phone covered with the proximity sensor and I put the device on my car instead of going blank I am getting to see that the screen is lit up, that’s what I am saying here.

Now this is happening after the mango update now why is that so? Can you all tell me if the same is the case with you all or not?

Well dude even I had the same problem with my omnia 7 as well so what I did was a simple restart of the phone and that worked out for me. So I would advise you all to have a check about the same that’s what you should be doing over here I hope you did understand what I am saying here that’s it from my side for you all.

So do have a look at the same and revert back to me if the said solution does works for you or not, that’s it from my side for you.

Yes this has been a problem since long that’s what I am saying here, so don’t know what can be the problem here. As far as my solutions are concerned, I have tried flashing to 7004. I know the problem is of the firmware update that’s what I am saying here, I think the firmware update has to do something with the problem, so I would say that wait for the next update to fix up the issue. That’s what I am saying here. So hope this small suggestion from my side does helps you to some extent.

I think so there is some problem with the update yes I have mailed the Microsoft people about the various bugs report that have come after the mango update and they are yet to reply to me about the same that’s what I am saying here.

So possibly what I would say is that I will let you all know if there is any update coming from the officials of the Microsoft about the same and will inform you accordingly over there that’s what I am saying here, so that’s it from my side for you all.

For me the rebooting of the phone did work for me and I am so much happy with the outcome the proximity sensor is working perfectly well for me, so the phone stays blank when I am attending the call over here, that’s what I want to say here.
