Dead Pixel on Sony Tablet S

Does anyone see the dead pixel on top of their Sony Tablet S? I have one, not a huge deal, except when you use up £400 on a gadget, you turn out to be extremely conscious of it and you do not anticipate it to come about following some days of purchasing it. I’m presently seeing if anyone besides is within the same boat, plus if so, what they did regarding it?

I think not. There are a certain number of pixels that have been dead before it under warranty.

Have you cleaned your screen very well?

For the smallest bit of dirt seems to have a dead pixel.

An LCD display with a native resolution of 1280x1024 has more than 1.3 million pixels. The chance that not all work is great. Dead Pixel Tester helps you find dead pixels. Dead (sub) pixels are not always immediately seen, depending on the color of the surrounding pixels. Dead Pixel Tester projects a single color on your screen so that the naked eye blind faster (sub) pixel points.

As I read long ago that there are two distinct states which we call "dead pixel". On one side is a pixel that stays fixed in one color (usually call it zombie pixel) and apparently it can be forced to re-activating the fact that color on the monitor for hours. Then there is the authentic dead pixel, where black is always that no longer responds electronically to the matrix. That is well and truly dead, unrecoverable.

Fortunately, we can easily fix this. How? Here's the solution:
    • Turn off your computer and your monitor.
    • Take a slightly damp cloth (towel) to avoid scratching the screen.
    • Press the place where the dead pixel. Do not elsewhere; it could "kill" other pixels
    • While holding down, turn on your computer and the screen (get help from someone if you do not have enough arms
    • Stop supporting. Normally, the dead pixel is resurrected. This works when the liquid "crystal" has not spread in every single pixel. It is this liquid which returns to the intensity of light to which it is submitted, a different color.

Then recess, it does not work at all the shots

Let's assume just one thing. This procedure does not replace the original surgery technician and if you do, pay attention, otherwise you risk damaging the pixels adjacent to the "dead". Another necessary precision is what helps us to distinguish pixels dead pixels dead. The first is the Pixel "off" for which this technique has no effect. The second is the Pixel "monochrome" which occurs in all one color, keeping it constant despite the change hue and intensity of adjacent siblings.

Note that there are two types of dead or defective pixels, which are differentiated by the type of color matching. In this way, is called Hot Pixel, or hot pixel, to that unit has been permanently lit in white. If, however, it is a pixel that has been in a solid color such as blue, red or green, often referred to as pixel Stuck, stuck pixel is.

No wonder that with the intensive use of a computer to produce this type of error, and see a dead or stuck pixel. In this case it is important to mention that there is a difference between a dead pixel stuck, because the former cannot be solved, while the stuck pixel can be repaired in several ways.

Pay particular attention to proper positioning of the rubber match of Pixels ill. The risk is that you can do some damage to the good pixels.

From the experiences described in the network, the trick works very well but if you're facing the classic LCD. If for example you wanted to apply to those devices that use a rigid screen as a precaution to protect the LCD film (like PSP or DS or mobile phones) of course, the trick does not work, because the pressure cannot have its effect.
