Wifi policy does not save in Sony Tablet S

I am eager for any of my mobile Wifi to stay connected constantly. I employ the tab like a media router, undeviating media from 4 servers as well as 3 receivers in the home, fairly cool in fact... Now the issue is that each time my tab looses Wifi connection, it messes up the inventory of servers/receivers. The Wifi policy settings operated in the opening, except currently they don’t. Whichever profile I decide, the Wifi is dropped while the display turns of.

The cause is probably a known bug in Android 3.2 wifi still be solved. You can make the problem less frequently by STATIC IP to give you wifi connection ... preferably on the wifi connection of your other device. You can also try your router to another channel to set up, if you live in a house my lot of neighbor’s wifi networks around you, for example. The app wifi manager from the market, you can quickly figure out which of the radar channel is still quite free.

Did you happen to be set to the WiFi connection is automatically disconnected when the screen is off for a while? You can check with "settings-> Wireless and Network'-> WiFi setting-> Menu (button)'->' advanced-> WiFi sleep policy.

I myself stopped wifi permanently to want. I turn the wifi on and off by hand before I turn the screen off, then the system is frozen at least not when I do wake up the tablet again. I use the widget that comes with WiFi Manager before. If I wish to permanently have wifi, I make the screen is more going on standby by itself. It can be downloaded from a box on the market. This is all elusive wifi problem behavior, but the cause is a bug in Android and that should be get fixed to really solve.

I missed the tablet in two things, I had to change the router's broadcast Channel 6 to 11, channel 6 had so many people that I connected the tablet to another tablet that I have also had to change the security system But I worked trying to put WPA2 WPA-PSK (an option that lets the two forms of security to both WPA and WPA2), and do not forget to put on and this is important in AES encryption, TKIP + AES to me on mobile devices has always failed me, leave alone in AES.

I had exactly the same experience. Try to connect from a router Tablet S COMTREND 5813 by WPA. According to Telefonica router has the latest update level and has tried everything: reset, change the password, its size, the channel, IP configuration, the DNS IP ... but without being able to connect. The tablet had installed version 3.2 of Android. For other routers, possibly of type "g" instead of "n", if I have connected.

Which channel is stronger in every household differently? By the app 'WiFi Analyzer to download you can see which channel in your area to the other user has the least, so you're always strongest. The more users on a channel, the more likely it is that wifi fails on your mobile!

I changed the wifi channel to 13 (from 11), and the behavior is somewhat erratic. Seemed to improve, was a whole night without disconnecting the wifi, but today I have suffered such a disconnect. The router is a linksys WRT54G. I put the widget to connect to wifi-off quickly, and when I suffer these random disconnects when returning from standby the widget still believes it is connected. Do not know if it's a router problem, because returning to the channel change issue, commenting that these days there have appeared new to an area wifi that could clog the band.

Yes, I have noticed the disconnections have occurred so far with <50% of battery (the latter with 44%, I'm not talking about reaching critical levels), so I do not know if you have something to do, I know policies wifi savings beyond the commentary.

Can you tell us whether the Irouter is set up using a mixed mode or not? I would suggest trying it on a different wifi network (and router), for this purpose cheaper would be the best test. It seems like the tablet doesn't handle mixed-mode stuff very well. So that might be an issue with the double wifi policy.
