Lenovo Unresponsive screen at startup

Whenever I first turn on my slate I get presented through my PIN screen (somewhat I cannot immobilize because of Activesync policy) it does not react to any touches for about 5 seconds. Afterward, everything seems to functions fine. This happens each time and I haven't seen something that causes the screen to be instantly responsive while I first turn it on. This is very irritating. Can you please help me to get out of this?

I have the similar difficulty through the pattern unlock on top of my TPT. I hadn't bothered complaining regarding it yet. I am not that influenced that Lenovo is really doing something to resolve this problem.

I think that the best thing that you can do is to contact the Lenovo support and ask them for the same. They will tell you that what is the problem with that and how that can be resolved. They are well experienced with the issues like this and they can give you the best reason for this. I hope that you will be out of the issue soon.

This can be because of some problem in the operating system. What you can do is, just try to restore the system to some earlier date and see if the issue gets resolved or not. If this solves the problem for you then it’s OK but if that failed to solve the issue then you can reinstall the operating system. But make sure that you are taking it as a last option and no other option works for you.
