iPhoto 4.0 installation over its previous version

Hi,

I use a Mac G4, run Mac OS X 10.4.11, TIGER. I use a SONY DSC-T100 camera. I have installed iPhoto 1.1.1, but I've never used it. I downloaded a free copy of iPhoto 4.0. If I install iPhoto 4, will the result of the 4.0 installation be a complete stand alone application? Will I need any other versions of iPhoto? (like iPhoto 2.0, etc.)?

It is always recommended to install the latest version of the software that has bug fixes and some more support comparing it with its previous version. If you still install the old version of the iPhoto software, it will recommend you to install its latest version and hence it will obviously download and install the latest version which is 4.0 of iPhoto.
