Mistaken firmware update by sony optiarc support team

i truly very much discourage with sony optiarc maintain team, I have a sony dvd rw drive, yesterday i downloaded the file which is firmware from optic arc maintain page and asked them several questions associated to that firmware file by means of their form filling category, 24 hr accepted but they gave me no answer, and i damaged my DVD ram drive with wrong firmware update file..

Perhaps in the future you may desire to try other application.
I have used it in view of the fact those XP Pentium four days for firmware OD updates. Haven't completed a brick up till now. That being thought of all the OD's I have owned over the years Asus, LG, Sony. And Samsung, All still work excluding the Sony. I got Samsung and LG have outstanding direct support sites for firmware updates. That is Easiest I have ever used.

As long as I be acquainted with you've bricked the drive. You can attempt to re-flash it and pray it works. or else it's you can pay money for another drive. I Bought the entire mine for below 20$ on deal.
