Overblown sales tax when ordering Sprint online

For anyone who has shopped online recently Sprint, you can confirm whether the tax was paid on sales that are supposed to pay? For example, in Los Angeles, which would pay 8.75% sales tax on the sale price of the phone (by the California state law)? So if I have $ 199 a photon, which would have to pay sales tax on $ 549.99 (the retail value), which in Los Angeles, would come to $ 48.12. But when I go to sprint that I'm being charged about 10.94%, which is about $ 60.12. Of course, in the payment page, which is "expected", but just wondering if they charge more sales tax than they should.

Said my sales tax was over $ 80! Not to mention, they are sending to the wrong address (even though I put the correct shipping address in the correct fields). But I am responsible for the phone if lost. And they refuse to cancel the order. Close to close my account and jump to Verizon.

Pay taxes in California law on the phone subsidized cost. This means that for example would be charged $ 649 for the 16GB iPhone 4S in its place of the $ 199 you actually pay. Do not protest regarding Sprint, they complain that the legislature of California.

I know it is supposed to be taxed on the total selling price / unsubsidized price. When I go to the checkout page, taxes (estimated) is more than the rate of sales tax on the retail price is. So my query was - can anyone verify if they truly applied the accurate tax rate after receiving your phone.

I will not know until you actually receive the phone, but I looked at my payment history and looks like my card was charged $ 256.56, while the estimated total was $ 271. I also live in Los Angeles

I am in New York and paid $ 199.99 ip4s + 50. dep. = $ 249.99. If we subtract what is shown as a credit on my career ACTT. $280.55. I paid $ 31.05 tax. Do the math on the lime. At $ 649.99 x 4.62%, which refers to 30.02 according to the lime.

What the $ 50 is for. I have no idea. When my friend at age 17 had his own act of career I had to put a 50dep. He turned the Year 1 July this step. I guess because of his age. It also pays a monthly fee 4.99 expenses limit. From their 4s added as third phone family preparation their iph4s is 20 plus 10 added data.

Auto-pay, yes I know, I said, but like all children of 18 years, she hasn't budgeting mastered the art of money for the funds available in your account. Then you have another friend in your Account that gives her half of the family plan price. So if you stick to it and not pay their share, Sprint, attempt to get autopay, Chase attach to it with inadequate funds charges by paying your account. Teenagers not at all listen to their parents; at least mine does not, and thinks I am his plan to rescue the federal government.

When I had to pay a deposit, but I cannot imagine that there is a deposit for the purchase of a complete phone! Perhaps it will be applied immediately by activation not go above the spending limit. By the way, you can avoid the monthly fee of $ 4.99 by signing up Auto-Pay.
