Clock running fast in Toshiba Satellite L775D

The clock on the Satellite is always running fast, approx 15 minutes each 12 hours paying little mind to turned on, turned off, slumber, AC connected to, AC not connected to. So far we have unchecked the programmed adjust with virtual world time windows and reset the BIOS settings, with no enhancement. Any suggestions?

Open Services (services.msc) and verify that the Windows Time utility exists and that Startup Type is situated to Manual. Since its not begun, begin it. In the event that it won't begin, give us the post. Since all this is approving, returned for additional.

Checked utilities and Windows Time status was exhaust, so I modified the startup chance to manual and will restart the computer. If that wasn't the true thing to do, please spared me the time to know. Unique computer L775D-S7222 running Win 7 Home Premium from yesterday's reset at 9:15A to now at 10:30A the clock is 2.5 hours speedy.

I am having the same issue, same laptop L775D. I headed off to fixes and windows time utility was on stop mode and set to manual. I began. I will see what happens. NO blunders when I begin it. In addition why it does needs to be set as manual, could be preferred to be set as programmed so it begins up every time the computer is turn on.

When I run over to windows time aid it was on stop status and manual setting. I begin it and it begin up with no slips. When I reboot to turn off the windows time utility is off besides so I need to begin it like a champ again. Do we need to do anything else? My Satellite L775D-S222 is just 4 days old. I quite enjoy it, but this issue is quite annoying. If its not too much trouble help, I don’t would like to return this laptop.

I hold the l775D-7222 (from staples) and have this same issue reached Toshiba today and they have caught various reports of the issue. They have supposedly sent the issue on to their technicians and are supposed to contact me with a fix when they resolve it. In the event that I catch anything, I’ll post it here.

    • double-click on Services.
    • Parchment down to Windows Time, right-click, then click on Properties.
    • On the General tab, in the Startup Type box, select Automatic (Delayed).

I have a L775D-S7222 and actually cracked out the box today so I'll see in the morning depending on if it possesses the issue. I'd take every available opportunity to do a casual survey and see what model and BIOS form those that are encountering the "speedy clock" issue are running. Probably we could probably identify a shared element.
