synchronize BlackBerry Bold 900 with Apple Mac OS X 10.4.6.

Recently I bought the new BlackBerry Bold 900 and I'm a fresh user of a BlackBerry and I'd like to synchronize my Bold 9000 with my PowerBook G4 with MacOS 10.4.6. so here Can anybody give me a hint how to do that? The target software is not really of interest. Could be iCal and the Mac addressbook, BlackBerry Desktop Software or any other software for that reason. It would be nice if that software supports any standard for exporting the data to a vendor independent format. Please suggest me for that.

Here in your case I would like to suggest you for the BlackBerry Desktop Manager for Mac which is supported by Research In Motion, after trying with this software it is necessary to update the operating system Mac OS 10.5.5 or later. Desktop Manager for Mac also can synchronize your Mac Book, iCal, Entourage 2004, 2008. This is also a free download. Try to download for that and hope that it will help to synchronize BlackBerry Bold 900 with Apple Mac OS X 10.4.6. I am suggesting you for this because I am also having the manager for synchronize my BlackBerry with Apple Mac OS X 10.4.6. If you do not upgrade your operating system, then you can investigate other resources, such as PocketMac or Missing Sync for BlackBerry. Both programs can be a cost associated with them, and are supported by other vendors

Thanks for giving me the proper information on this topic. Unfortunately I can't upgrade my MacOS because it's a PowerBook 4G with PowerPC architecture. I will look for the software mentioned.

And also while trying to download BlackBerry Desktop Manager, I will recommend you for find the best software solution to sync your BlackBerry Bold. Else it will cause to other problem while to sync your BlackBerry Bold with the Apple MacBook.

I want to suggest you some important information about this. And that is BlackBerry Desktop software is an executable that will need universal Manager.app 10.5.5, the latest operating system to support the PPC Mac is Leopard, 10.5, from Snow Leopard 10.6 Intel is a condition. But here in your case I really do not see why you cannot install 10.5, the upgrade to 10.5.8, installed BDM to work.

Unfortunately I cannot update my MacOS because it is a 4G PowerBook PowerPC architecture. But great suggestion for me, before that I thought 10.5 is running only on Intel. Really Many thanks for the information.

I am also having the same problem when using powerbook G4 and PocketMac software have to pay for it. And for that reason I came here to know that why not RIM come out a new BDM for Mac and can be used for all Mac model / OS. Please suggest me also for this reason.

Yes, I know that why you are not able to upgrade, and this is only because of Powerbook G4 only 600mhz and for the 10.5 Mac OS it will have to be 800 MHz and that’s why you are not able to upgrade it. Try to use the Powerbook G4 800 MHz . hope after that you can easily able to upgrade it.

Hey friends, thanks you very much for telling me that I am facing this problem due to the Powerbook G4 only 600mhz and for the 10.5 Mac OS it will have to be 800 MHz. now I can easily try to resolve my problem. And if again I will get any other problem then I will again report over here.
