is it necessary to provide email address while complaining to nokia

Hi, I am using N80 and really I am having very awful problem with the mobile but still when I am about to complain about the same so they are asking about the Email address and I don’t want to give it to them however or we must have to do that? and I have noticed that “Ask Nokia” forums are just next to worthless so what could be the solution to this?

Any suggestion would be appreciated.

yeah as far as I know if you are complaining online so you must have to provide your Email address for sure and there isn’t any harm doing this because while we complaint online about any query so at that moment the Email id that we provide is the only way to contact each other and that’s is why that is essential to provide while complaining about anything.

I am agree with the above user as you must have to provide the address for sure but still you can have another option as well such as if suppose you want to make a complain but not online then I would say you should try to visit the service center and then you can complain, in fact without giving your number as well.

But the thing that made me confused was like why you are afraid of giving your Email address?
