How to disable that stupid ascending ringtone in Samsung focus?

I love the Samsung hardware. This phone is awesome. But why the tone up? Anyone knows how to disable this crap?

Modify the Registry key

Code:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Audio\Effects\AudioClassFader\2 \
Change the Dword "Attack" from 3000 to 0

i am 100 percent sure this will work for you. If any more doubt than please let me know here.

You have to perform following steps.
You have to click on Start button and click on Run, here you have to enter ‘regedit’.
Now search for the following keys.

Code:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Audio\Effects\AudioClassFader\2 \

You have to double click on Dword Attack change it to 3000 to 0.
Note: you should backup registry key before you do anything to avoid system instability if you do mistake.

thanks for the answer, but how do i access the samsung phone's (Galaxy s 2) registry?
even when the phone is connected i cant see other devices besides my computer.

and how do i back up the registry?

Hi Tal,

Galaxy S 2 is an Android phone. Search the Android Play Store for "Disable increasing ring", and you can install an app that will get rid of the ascending ringtone.
