How to disable battery charging in alienware laptop?

Hi, I have alienware m11x laptop and in which I want to disable the battery charging, is it possible? And if yes then how can I do it?

I know this must be very funny rather worthless question but still it is very important to me.

Any suggestion for doing this would be appreciated.

Exactly I would say the same as this is very wired question, in fact heard for the first time. so I don’t know whether it is possible or not, but if you don’t want it to be charge somehow you can simply remove the battery from the case, so that no one would be able to charge it anyways.

Actually I have asked this because somewhat for security reason and in general extend battery life by keeping it at a 45% - 55% charge state. This really decreases battery wear.

Yeah off course you can do this, as I have found the program through that you can stop charging your battery but still I am not responsible for any damage as this is actually against the best caring the product. You can simply download it from internet, the name of that software is BTmeter.EXE.

I have tried it once and it works perfectly, but still it is my personal recommendation as you should not make use of such software for more time.
