In the event that I review accurately, its not the programming (android form) that is keeping the G2X from getting Netflix, It's the equipment that would be keeping the G2X from getting Netflix. It has a hardware level DRM, something that the Tegra 2 doesn't have.

It's not a hardware issue. I'm established, and running CM7. I am able to tell you that Netflix DOES finish up my Mobile (I downloaded from xda).

Notwithstanding, you could not venture to update your queue with the portable Netflix application. You are able to view movies/tv that are good to go for moment play but no adjusting your queue.

Actually, I think Netflix might discharge it to all Android Mobiles, but they would like to, for dread that their servers won't have the capacity to handle the vast hit.

Initially, I altered the build.prop and downloaded from the business. In any case I'm pretty positive I'm running a shaped form now. I'll check, when I find the opportunity, and see provided that I could probably spot the channel I utilized at xda (if you're intrigued).

Run over to XDA in the applications and subjects area there is a string with the APK you would be able to put on your SD card and open with astro. You need to be running CM7 or bionix however, I suspect.

Re: Unable to find Netflix for T-Mobile G2X

When I was running CM7 2.3.3 the Netflix application did not go with my Mobile. When they did the CM7 2.3.4 update they particularly coded it to fake Netflix into speculation the Mobile met the prerequisites. So its an equipment issue, in that Netflix doesn't think the application is flawless for the Mobile but it is additionally a product issue, in that depending on if you misdirect the application then the application will run. Moreover I have perused some place over the virtual world that-The trick theorists have exited the woodwork. Great speculation but the G2 was one of the first 5 Mobiles to be regarded a qualifying Mobile by Netflix. Netflix is the singled out case that makes the post of good Mobiles, not T-mobile. In addition, a couple alternate T-cellular Mobiles are perfect, the Samsung Galaxy S 4G, Vibrant, and the Nexus S. Here's the join for the Android Marketplace for Netflix. You are able to see the post of perfect gadgets. In the event that your Mobile is not on that post then Netflix hinders your Mobile from seeing it.

Netflix is on established G2Xs running certain ROMs. I don't why you'd need to live out all that for something alternate Mobiles can get out of the container.

Those Mobiles can get on the Android Marketplace and download the application straight, on the grounds that Netflix permits it. Anyhow utilize some practical judgement skills on this one. Custom ROMs make it appear similar to the Mobile is one of the Mobiles that are sanction by Netflix. That would be why Netflix didn't work for 2.3.3 on Cyanogenmod but did work for 2.3.4, on account of they put in some additional code in trick the Netflix framework into deduction its not the same Mobile.

It works amazing with the Mytouch 4G on Cyanogenmod. T-portable isn't running to move toward getting involved with similarity with 3rd party application back. It's dependent upon HTC, which has sold countless more handsets than the G2X, and LG to go with Netflix to prod for testing on their Mobiles to get them affirmed. I think this is an exceptional thing for Netflix to do, for the most part, being as how the application could have been panned assuming that it didn't finalize a considerable number of apparatuses and the ratings could have been ghastly. They are testing each and every Mobile and giving regard, exceptionally inefficiently, to ones that meet their prerequisites for DRM and act too without every last trace of the bugs. All the more now they are just up to 24 phones/tablets, opposite every last trace of the producers, which make up just a bit of the Android phones/tablets that might run them.

I don't realize what's taking Netflix so extended but at long last its Netflix that is bringing on the extended tend to a significant number of Mobiles and tablets.
