Recommended lens for Canon T3i

My friend has just bought a brand new Canon T3i. By luckily he got 3 lenses with this camera and they are ef-s 18-55 mm, ef-s 55=250, as well as an ef 75-300 mm. I understand the 18-55 is a excellent on a daily basis lens except should I continue together the extra lens? As I am a newbie here I don’t have much information about it.

The choices the camera lens is always very difficult, and sometimes you are likely to spend money to buy something then you need to change in a short time it does not match your needs. The luck is that the objectives are expensive (such as those manufactured by Canon L-series) do not depreciate very easily, so you can resell obtaining more than half of its initial value. I would like to have a 600mm f4, but the cost seems too much for my pockets, and if we do not think well, actually I'd use it very often (sports photographer in situations where the 600mm is too long) and probably not 'd never be able to use it to make so many beautiful photos that might justify an expense like that.

In such systems, professionals agree that it is even more important that the chosen lens of the camera body itself ... which lens you would like to use ... usually T3i will come with the lens ef-s 18-55mm IS and the usual change the 60D is the EF-s 18-135mm lens with a bit more to achieve and maybe a tad lower in sharpness to the shorter 18-55. To make the decision even more difficult the price difference will be very little between the two chambers.

The cam and the lenses are good beginner lenses - the price of the bundle seems to be OK. If you feel the need for some time that you expect more of the lenses, then you can still add.

The 18-55 is better than its reputation, I once tested, should actually have a few pictures I had with the 400D and have been 18-55. The 75-300 is in the bundle (of course at this price) without the IS and USM, but also for the entry is not a bad lens. I personally own the 75-300 IS USM which I am very pleased, but had previously borrowed from a friend the normal 75-300 and have made it really good shots. I think overall you can do nothing wrong with the bundle.

With 18-55 IS and 55-250 IS You're better off considerably. Put something on it and I prefer it longer then joy. 300mm without IS are really only useful on a tripod or in bright sunshine and 18-55 without IS will also represent less than the IS version.
