I don’t agree with you on this completely as it all depends on what you're using it for. I got my PS3 mainly for Bluray playback gaming was just a additional benefit. I too have a 1 year old Xbox 360 Slim bring together dust; PS3 is a much more solid design IMO. The quantity of noise made on Xbox optical drive is outrageous.
