Microsoft Security Essentials: not updating after installing 0x80070424

Recently I have installed XP in my computer after the downloaded the Microsoft Security Essentials and install in my computer. So When I try to update this product its fails to update the product. I do not know why it not updating but for confirmation I tried to check an internet connection and all those connection are proper. Therefore, what is the problem I do not know friend anyone have solution about this problem can tell me.

I think some files are missing from your system that is why you are not able to update your Microsoft Security Essentials package.

You can solve this problem by following these steps:

First click on start then go to run
Moreover, paste the command in the run text box and press enter
%SYSTEMROOT%\SYSTEM32\REGSVR32.EXE
%SYSTEMROOT%\SYSTEM32\WUAUENG.DLL
This line use to reregistering WUAUENG.DLL in window.

After following these steps, I am sure you will not face this error 0×80070424.

Thanks for this solution dude. First time I forget to put space between the "EXE ' and %SYSTEMROOT% but the second got right and solve my problem.
