Does Skype works well with GTablets

I want to ask a question about Skype and Tablets. I heard somewhere that Skype doesn’t works on Tablets. But, I also heard that Tablets works fine with Skype just camera doesn’t work. And some say everything works fine. So, now I want to know the truth from you people. If anyone is using Skype on their tablet then please let me know some truth about it.

As far as I know, only Skype voice calls and texting works on tablets. Video calling probably doesn’t works on Wi-Fi only tablets.

I am using Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1(Wi-Fi). And as I have tested it, I got to know Only Voice calling works. Video calling doesn’t works at all. It showed that my device doesn’t support video. I hope they will make video chat to work soon. But as of now, it doesn’t works. There is no problem with voice calls.

Skype video calls don’t works at all. Even Google video chat doesn’t work on it. Till now I know only one video chatting app for tablets and that is Fring. I only use Fring as till now I don’t know any other workaround.

I just bought Asus Transformer. And I got know that that Skype Video chat doesn’t works on it. I felt little disappointed. I will try Fring now.

If you are having Asus Transformer then don’t feel bad as if you cannot do Skype video chat. Because you have better option than Skype, as it supports Google video chat. And Google Video chat is more reliable than Skype.
