Microphone unable to work with Ipad2 32Gb

I used to play music and other files as well with the IPAD through my microphone and it was working fine since yesterday even. Actually I have doubt in my firmware actually because the thing is like after making the firmware update this is happening, so is it possible that there no sound because of that only? I have tried the microphone with another machines as well and it is working perfectly thus surely there isn’t any problem with the microphone, what shall I do next, need suggestion.

Yeah off course it might be possible that if there is some problem in the software itself then it may cause such a problem for sure, thus according to me you should try to reset the settings in the IPAD so the that you can have OS in the default condition that you have gotten when you have bought it. you should try both the resetting technique one after another if the previous one doesn’t work. And don’t forget to back up the data or else you may lose some important data as well. And if suppose you are still having the same problem you should try to reinstall the firmware in your device.

Generally this kind of problem doesn’t happens with the apple’s product but I think you should check some sound settings as well in the device before resetting it, first of all try to make them default and then see what happens.
