Sdhc card support for ASUS Eee PC 701SD

Well I am having ASUS Eee PC 701SD netbook. I really loved the look and feel of the laptop of mine. I wanted to know whether I can install 32mb/s sdhc card on the device of mine. whether the device of mine will support this particular card? I have installed Windows XP on the device of mine. Any information on this particular matter will be highly appreciated. Thanks a lot in advance.

I think you are talking about the 32GB card, am I right? If so I let you know that this particular card is supported by the ASUS Eee PC 701SD netbook. I have also installed 32GB card on the device of mine and I am not having any issue so far. I have installed Kingston 32GB class 4 on the netbook of mine. So if you are really wanted to install the same on the device of yours then you should get the same and install the same on the device of yours.

Well thanks a lot for the prompt replies of yours. so you told me that there would not be an issue after installing the 32GB memory card on the device of yours. Let me know what will be the speed of the card? Whether it will as fast as any of the SATA drive? After looking at the speed criteria I will think about the purchasing of the device. Looking at the questions which you have mentioned over here I let you know that the SATA drive is faster than that of the card which you are looking to install. The speed of the memory card is dependent on the class. If you are having class 4 memory card than you are going to have the speed of 4MB/second. Currently the fastest memory cards is having of Class 10. I am not sure bit I think 32GB as well as 64GB card will also work on the laptop which you are having.

The speed and compatibility of the card is associated with the reader which you are supposed to use. As far as I know the card which are having larger memory size is not tested and there is no announcement from the manufacturer on this particular matter. However I wondering that we are going to use the SDHC card of Class 6. For your information class 6 is also recommend for the Video playback. Also you will be able to class 10 but I think you will not be able to feel the difference into speed of the card.

I think I am going to purchase the memory card of the class 6 on the device of mine. I will share the experience of mine once I have installed the memory card on the device of mine.
