First Impression of Motorola Droid 3

Android is running 2.3.4 with no luck rooting so far, nevertheless did not in actuality try too solid, immediately SuperOneClick, although hangs and does not seem to work. The USB configuration have changed in gingerbread, there are some other options, rather than simply "Share Drive or No" as Froyo. The display is superior, however it seems very pixilated compared to the unusual Droid. I'll almost certainly get used to, but now is a bit annoying to say the least. The touch screen is extremely funky. Enormous phone in general, even though I'm still on the barrier if it was worth to more get better or not. I think that once I obtain it set up and their roots to do away with some of the additional junk I do not want, I'll be much happier with it.

I'm all about high resolution images sharp .It is very pixilated and not very "bright" as a result. Web browsing is pretty terrible for any of the pages with solid colors, because you can see the gaps / spaces between the pixels. It's a bit annoying. As I said, it will probably be used for her in a week or so, but for now, it is certainly an eyesore. This is a deal breaker? I think not, but that depends on how long it takes to make this thing real. There are a lot of clayware installed powers too (but that goes for any phone, so there is not much difference).

Curious, the first time I tried, I realized I could not take photos without a SD card inserted. I just went back and tried again and it worked. With respect to the screen, maybe I have a bad, but I suspect not. Within a week, once they are in stores, I'm going to see some display units to compare, but I can definitely see a clear "pixels." This is especially true for smaller sources, small gaps between each pixel, which makes the fonts look a little bad to be honest.

What you're seeing is actually PenTile screen. Do a Google on the Droid X2 and pentyl. It was a catastrophe. If you think this screen is "doubtful" have hated because the Droid X2 is being a little larger, PenTile defects were much, much more pronounced. Congestion on the Droid 3 is much better than the Droid X2 and has no blue push, either. Side by side is even more remarkable the amount of thrust has Droid X2 blue.

I have mine too and play with it today. Likes: the keyboard is very nice, the phone is quick and responsive, and the camera takes good pictures. Tons of garbage applications preloaded on the phone. It seems I could have made shorter than the phone if not the big black border on the screen or does the bottom of the similar distance end to end as the top. As for the display except you have the phone in close proximity to my features, you cannot do with the associates anyhow I cannot see the pixilation.

I agree 110%! I have small hands and stretching my right thumb that was painful. Also, I have further than a few passwords and they all have a number of them. It's very, very nice to be capable to skip this stride of having to press the Alt key to position in my password. Still enhanced not having to press the Alt key twice to enter the phone number. (And then not recall deactivating and messing up the next thing I write.) Also like the feel of the keys better

The keyboard is not as rigid as D1, at least not mine. I like to call mine "fair." Also, if you look at the design, it would not be able to fit the 4.3 "in this environment without extending the display of the phone all the way to the bottom edge of the keyboard. While there are some left and right in the room, the bezel, the capacitive keys in the background and the camera / speaker / sensor up top do not leave vertical space for 4.3 "to fit.
