kindle k3 not working with my computer

I've had my K3 from the time when Christmas and have not at all been clever to obtain to my computer. I would akin to to start using caliber; consequently I actually would like to get this to work. I talked to a customer service representative when I called about another issue (freezing, I was able to fix), and it does not actually help me through this, and responsible it on my old computer. I comprise a Lenovo Thinkpad R60, as a result I actually do not feel is too old to employ through the Kindle. Old, yes, but not that old. I can use a Zune with it without problems.

It appears that your computer does not recognize the Kindle, for a number of reasons. Have you endeavor plugging within the USB port of your computer and after that "safely eject", right? You can do this in Windows XP (other Windows versions), through clicking on top of "Safely Remove Hardware" icon within the taskbar of the computer and decide the correct drive. Once disconnected from that, after that try connecting another time and perceive if the computer recognizes it.

It is possible that the USB port not working properly, but you said you have no problem with the Zune with it, so that seems unlikely. Curiously, you hear the bells without other evidence of a connection (like the box asking if you want to observation files using Windows Explorer and change the display of the Kindle). My idea is another and he said his team is bigger; it is possible that the USB is greater than USB 2.0? I do not think the Kindle will work with prior versions.

I am not a specialist within hardware, which possibly will be a superior approach to check, however you be supposed to be clever to go to Start and select Control Panel after that choose System and go to the Hardware Device Manager. After that click the plus sign within front of "Universal Serial Bus controllers" on the way to display the list. If "USB2 Enhanced Host Controller" in the list, then you have USB 2.0. Have you attempted to connect Kindle to your computer through someone else fresh to perceive if it works correctly.

My thought is an additional and he said his system is superior; it is probable that the USB is greater than USB 2.0? I do not consider the Kindle will work through prior versions. I am able to connect Kindle on the way to a XP machine at all times, mutually for charging and file transfer; as a result it does not work wonderfully in the company of that operating system. This is what I think about it. If you want to know more about it then go to the official site of kindle. Thank you.
