I have a Dell Streak 5 with froyo 1.6 to 2.2. I am happy with it and its working fine. From other users, I have noticed that they are attempting complains about this Dell Streak 5. They are also comparing it with other tablets and phones. I have also heard that the manufacturer failed to explain the customers what device really is including that its too big to hold in users hand. It also drains lot of battery. Wiil by device trouble shoot later?

The problems that one encounters with this Dell Streak 5 so far, is similar with other devices also. So don’t worry its not big issue. There are many people who think that this device don’t have any comparisons. To know dell streak, people have to spend time with it. In dell streak web access, videos, contact management, applications etc everything works fine so no worries. I agree with its poor marketing but I don’t think it’s a major problem. The company must have some personal issues.

It has reasons for it to be big in size because of it blueant Q1 or Q2 works perfect with this device. The battery life depends upon the how we use it. If we do multiple task at a time then its obvious that it will consume battery. If you use moderate then it will not drain battery.

I have recently faced a problem with my dell streak 5. During video call it launched rear facing camera instead of front camera. I know dell streak is a good tablet phone and I too enjoying its use. This is the first bug I came across with my device. Its processor is good as it does not slow down even if I use bunch of application together. Streak is stable and fast device. Don’t worry; I don’t think there will be bugs in future. If you see the picture quality its good, the calls and networking is also nice.

This all bugs and complains that people are complaining that you have mentioned in your question are just fake mouth publicity. I have used skype in my dell streak, the front camera works fine. Even the 3G option works fine. I am sure because I have personally experienced all this. The power control widget is very good in dell streak. In that the turning off wifi, GPS, 3G etc actions works fine.

I have been expecting or you can say eagerly waiting for new official android 2.3 operating system for my Dell Streak. Hope it comes soon so that I can experience new features and know what is dell streak 5 capable of. I have done comparisons with Samsung Galaxy and came with a result that Dell streak 5 has the lead.
