Unable to download drivers for Sony Handycam DCR DVD610

I am searching for Sony Handycam DCR DVD610’s driver in order to download videos to my computer which is running Windows XP Operating SYstem, But I am unable to find from where I can download drivers . And I am unable to download the drivers if I am finding the same on any location. Also I am always getting the message to connect camcorder to my PC when I am downloading the drivers. What is the issue? Why I am unable to download drivers for my camcorder? Where I can find working drivers?

Thanks for your suggestions. I am downloading the drivers for my Sony Handycam DCR DVD610 camcorder only because I am not having the original drivers CD with me. I am not sure where I have lost it, but I am not having it any more with me. So, as I am not having the drivers CD, I preferred to download the drivers for my camcorder from Internet. This is the only solution which I find to be very useful and working one for me. Still if anyone has got any more suggestion about from where I can find and download the drivers for my computer. Also when I am connecting the device to my computer I can see only "preparing" in my camcorder and it gets stuck there.
