Black screen with flashing cursor on start-up in HP mini 110 Notebook

My friend is has brought a new HP mini 110 Netbook, with quite good configuration. It has a 10.1 inch (1024*786) LCD widescreen display screen with high-definitions display option.160 GB hard drive with a 5400rpm speed. It also has a VGA port and 3 usb port .provided with a web cam. Now it cannot able to start and boot from hard drive .we have verified all bios setting, everything seem to be a proper. When we reboot it, goes to the HP logo and end with a flashing cursor having black screen. It has windows 7 operating system.

Go for the system recovery option, and follow the instruction. Reboot the system and continue hitting the “F11” key till the BIOS prompt displayed on the screen. By pressing F11 the system recovery process will start. When the recovery manager starts, select the System Recovery and Hit Click “Next “Button to proceed further. If you want to back-up your file then select the “back-up your file first” else click on “Next” to proceed. The recovery process may take several hours complete and it will return to original condition. All device driver again have to be installed.

Reboot the system. Enter into the system BIOS and check, whether hard disk is detected or not. If it is detected then go for the fresh installation copy of windows since HP MINI 110 id not having an optical drive so we have to use a portable (USB) DVD drive or Use a Flash Usb for OS installation. First change the bios setting. Set first Booting Device as hard disk, if it’s not working then update it to a particular device from which you want to boot. If you are going to boot from Usb then make sure that the Flash Drive is Bootable. Else it will not get boot.

First verify the BIOS setting and set it to default and save changes and in BIOS make changes as first booting device as your hard drive .before this verify that the hard drive is listed into the drive configuration. If laptop won’t boot then go to the bios setup screen and check if there is disk sanitizer, proceed with disk sanitizer and run in an optimum level. This may take approximate 5-6 hour. When it finish, let the laptop to cool down and again proceed for the windows installation.

Close your Netbook. Unplug the AC power from Wall Socket if it is connected and remove the DC battery from the Netbook and wait for the half an hour or long press to power button for a 15 – 20 minute. This will reset the all setting and configuration of laptop. Now again placed the battery back in to the laptop and plug-in for 15-20 minute for charge. Make sure that the battery is working fine and getting charge. Start your laptop and again proceed for the BIOS setup. Set First booting device priority to the HARD Drive
