Tips for updating the New UXP update.

While installing the new software in android many of us faced too many problems, here I have found the solution for almost all the problem regarding installing the new software as well as updating the existed once, for the android phones here is the latest UXP software released. I am mentioning the steps over here like how to install it.

Phone couldn’t connect –

While the problem persists you can have too many options, as it is not able to connect to the PC you can try to reconnect the wire properly, or check that the wire(data cable) is not beaked. Or, if your data cable is not working properly you can buy the new data cable from the Sony Ericsson’s support center. And then try t he same.

Couldn’t update the software -

This problem has too many reasons causing this, like from where you are downloading the software, because the sites are too many that provide the same software but half of that sites are illegally provides, so some of the files are missing in that software, then if your hardware has some fault you can’t update the software properly.

Which software to download ?

The latest software is the android 2.1 UPX, you can download it from the official Sony Ericsson’s website, but I would recommend don’t download It from any other sites, as I mentioned above it doesn’t provide Genuine software. Or if your mobile is not compatible with the latest version I would recommend you to stick with the one you have already.

How to install the new update?

While installing the new software, you have to first of all download the flash tool with the version 0.2.4, or if you have the PC companion you won’t have to download it, so after downloading it, install it, as you install that software you’ll find five folders inside. Namely, custom, drivers, firm wares, loaders, x10 flash_lib.

In that first of all you must have to download the file called X10a-2_1_A-_0_435_EW with extension .FTF, after downloading put it inside the firmware folder.

Then follow this steps -

Click on the flashtool application.
There will be button, connect, click on that button.
It will then prompt for the mobile number (that’s you model no.)
Select X10 and press OK.
It would ask you to connect your phone on flashmode ( while connecting, first turn off your phone, press the back button, and then connect the USB. And then click on Flash.

But if you have download the software version 0.2.5 then just one step is different, like when it ask for connect rather it would ask you to Flash and after that the remaining steps are same.

The features included in the New version –

- The new update include Mediascape, through which you can have “One finger zoom”, and a dual-touch etc.

- The keyboard is more responsive, and they have added few extra wallpapers too

- They also added two new application with the existing once for support and postcards facility
