Get Error 80109D80 while trying to activate my PSP

I have the PSP with me and everything was working alright. But now for some reason there is a problem with me and the issue is that the PSP is not able to work properly. The thing is that when I try to activate my PSP I get an error 80109D80 and then that doesn’t go ahead at all. Now I don’t know what I need to do and I am really getting very worried on this issue.So please do get back to me on this as I am waiting for the solutions.

I just had a look at the question that you have put up and would say that this is something that I haven’t heard about in the past as well. Also it actually doesn't seem like this issue was ever fixed.And I am not saying this to dishearten you but I guess that is the fact and you have to live with these facts. Also I would again say that this is something that this is first time ever I'm having this issue as of today.So this will be definitely a difficult issue to resolve.

Thanks a lot for your immediate replies. I don’t know what has happened and now I am suddenly getting these issues. I have been trying to work on then but for some strange reason that is not getting resolved. Actually I am trying to activate my system, but for some reason it won't let me and I have tried it multiple times but to no avail. So can you tell me what I need to do to solve the issue as I am really getting worried on this issue.

Even I had a similar kind of issue but I wasn’t getting the error that you are getting. What you can do is that you can just activate it via USB cable online and then I am sure that this will resolve the problem that you are facing. I don’t feel that there are any other solutions to this and you can use this one for time being. If this one doesn’t work for you then you can surely go ahead and go to a Gamestop or a repair shop and then they will be the correct person to show you the proper way to solve the problem that you are facing.

I think that if you are able to sign on to the Playstation Store without any problems so there isn't anything wrong with my account. Maybe the correct thing would be that you need to show it to some repair store itself and then they would be the right person to answer the doubts faced by you.If you try to play Parasite Eve on your PSP then you wont even get the copy over of it. So I guess that it would be the ideal option to go ahead with.

Thanks a lot for the solutions that you have given to me and would say that this is something that has really helped me.I feel that the right step to go ahead right now would be that I need to head to a store to get the PSP get repaired. If you exceeded the activate/deactivate system option here's what you can do.

(I don´t know if it works when exceeding the number of systems activated with a single PSN account)

Log in to your PSN account and do this:

1.- Change your current PSN log-in password

2.- Change the e-mail that serves as your ID when loging-in (if you have only that e-mail, get another one)

3.- Log-off

4.- Log-in again with the new e-mail

5.- Activate the system

Just remember, all notifications from PSN will be sent from now on to the new e-mail.

Thank you so much now if i can get my psp to download Games i get the same error any soultions? I can download demos but it wont let me download monster hunter freedom unite should i delete the download off my downloads list or what?

I just wanted to know that if you are using any custom firmware or so?? i am asking you this because i have found that if someone is found to be using custom firmware for their psp then Sony ban them temporarily from downloading on PSN.Whats your case??

Yeah its has cfw on it i uninstalled it and ill try again later on in the week thanks
