Dell Venue Pro Firmware

A MS rep explained me a Venue Pro with a firmware detached from Dell. His device details 512 MB of RAM, it was running the NoDo update, and the whole thing was functioning smoothly on his device. He said that the Dell firmware has a memory access trouble which is fixed with an imminent firmware update. I wish Dell releases this shortly! Anyone here has any idea about this, than please share with me and give me more updates if possible.

Here i just wish to add something in this case. When I acquired this phone and received it on 4/15 the box was twofold taped which leads me to accept as true that units were dragged from stock and updated. My firmware is at 2250.1800.7355.206 but I promise you- the Wi-Fi fix is at a standstill not in this. I am presently waiting to see if the replacement unit repairs this or waiting for the rumored 4/20 firmware update.

I obtained my Dell Venue Pro few days back, and faced lots of troubles in past few days. I love its look, but attractiveness without mind is waste. It freezes plenty (occasionally it doesn’t reappear even in 20 minutes.), I can’t believe on it. This solitary device has broken my self-assurance on Dell Products. Dell should have catched these troubles in Product Testing. And, Can anybody let me know, How to discover the firmware number?

Just got my another Venue Pro 16 GB and this one has the similar .206 firmware but the Wi-Fi exertions, which would escort me to believe there may be a few major hardware problems. I am pleased that I have a functioning phone now but truly distress for the rest of you guys at a standstill struggling. Keep asking for replacements, I guess there are functioning ones out there.

Well it’s pleasant to know as a minimum that I am not the just one with these problems. Got my phone 3 days before, got driven to update and right later than the update! The phone went wild. Kept getting wedged indifferent, just a battery pull could obtain it to come back. Did a factory reset and the whole thing was well. NoDo update was nice, applications installed correctly and the world was right yet again. After that I attempted something. I synced my music once more. About 6 GB, and wouldn't you know it.

I would shove the next day replacement. The initial rep I called said 8 to 9 business days for giving out and it would after that transport next day to me. He not at all setup that claim. Next rep said 3 to 4 days processing and next day. I called later that night and the phone had already transported to me and ended up getting it next day. I think they have a few pull that they can right away send one to you. After all - the warranty on the dell site says next day parts and alternate.
