Xperia x10 mini unable to save pictures from mms received

Hi friends I have purchased Xperia X10 mini it is such a nice phone. After 2 or 3 days my friend send me and MMS and I wan the picture in MMS but I don’t know how to save the image I tried to save the image but I didn’t find any option in my mobile which enable me to save the image. If you have any idea about how to save the image then please tell me know. is their any application required then please tell me the name also. I will be thankful to you.

In xperia you can save the picture from your MMS. For that you can follow the instruction first go to home screen and select the message after that open the conversation thread from there select the attachment and click on view picture after the picture open go to the option and there you will find the option which allows you to save the picture. Try this steps this is how normally we can save the picture from MMS if this idea does not work then let me know I will suggest you another solution for that.

Thank you for your advice I gone through your steps exactly you said in your post but when I open the picture in attachments in when I click no the option It only gives option of use picture as contact picture or wallpaper. But there is no other option which allows me to save the picture in my phone which I can upload or email to any one if you have any other solution for that then please reply me with new suggestion or solution. Hey I am having also Xperia x10 mini. I was having same problem with my phone I have noticed that Xperia x10 mini does not give any option to save photos received in a message, but there is One way to solve this problem if you have email account in your device then follow this steps

• Just click on the photo and then select Forward Message
• After that Select Recipient and click on New Conversation
• Now Add Recipient and enter your e-mail address and select send.

After that you can easily save the picture form your emails inbox.

Hi guys after watching your problems i finally got solution to easily save the picture from your MMS for that go through steps given ahead.

• From the android market download the app called handcent sms (It is a free application)
• After the download open the application and there you can see your messages are displayed.
• Now select the message where your picture is there.
• Now Touch and hold the picture until you get options appear.
• When you get options select copy attached to SD card.
• Now picture is saved to gallery.
