    Steps to download media files on Samsung proprietary platform Devices

    You can download media files onto your Samsung touch screen phone in several ways. Such as :
    1. Downloading from the web wirelessly.
    2. Downloading from a computer using the Samsung PC Studio program.
    3. Receiving via Bluetooth.
    4. Copying to the memory card.
    5. Synchronising with the Windows Media Player.


    But remember that you may incur additional charges for accessing the web and downloading media. For details contact your service provider. The web browser menu may be labelled differently depending on your service provider. Available icons may vary depending on your region or service provider.

    To download media files from the web wirelessly, please follow the steps below:
    • In Menu mode, select Browser.
    • Tap Home to launch your service provider's homepage.
    • You can now search for the desired media files.
    • Navigate the web pages using the following icons.

    2. Downloading media files from a computer using Samsung PC Studio:

    To download media files from a computer using Samsung PC Studio, please follow these steps:
    • First install the Samsung PC Studio program on your computer. You can download the program from the Samsung website.
    • Connect your phone to the computer via the supplied PC data cable.
    • Once it is done, select Settings in Menu mode.
    • Tap Phone settings.
    • Tap PC connections.
    • Tap Samsung PC studio.
    • Tap Save.
    • Press the Power / Menu exit button (twice) to return to the Idle screen.
    • Using an optional PC data cable, connect the multifunction jack on your phone to the computer.

    • Turn on the Bluetooth wireless feature first.
    • Find and pair with the other Bluetooth enabled device.


    To receive data using the Bluetooth wireless feature, do the following:
    • Enter the PIN for the Bluetooth wireless feature and tap OK (if necessary).
    • Tap Yes to confirm that you are willing to receive data from the device (if necessary).

    4. Copying media files to the memory card:

    To copy media files to a memory card, please follow these steps:
    Insert a memory card into your phone.
    • In Menu mode, select Settings.
    • Tap Phone settings.
    • Tap PC connections.
    • Tap Mass storage.
    • Tap Save.
    • Press the Power / Menu exit button (twice) to return to the Idle screen.
    • Using an optional PC data cable, connect the multifunction jack on your phone to the computer.
    • When connected, a pop-up window will appear on the computer.
    • Open the folder to view the files.
    • Copy the desired media files from your computer to the memory card.

    To synchronise your phone with Windows Media Player, please follow the steps below:
    • Insert a memory card into your phone.
    • In Menu mode, select Settings.
    • Tap Phone settings.
    • Tap PC connections.
    • Tap Media player.
    • Tap Save.
    • Press the Power / Menu exit button (twice) to return to the Idle screen.
    • Using an optional PC data cable, connect the multifunction jack on your phone to the computer with the Windows Media Player installed.
    • When connected, a pop-up window will appear on the computer.
    • Open Windows Media Player to synchronise media files.
    • Edit or enter your phone’s name in the pop-up window (if necessary).
    • Select and drag the media files you want, to the sync list.
    • Start the synchronisation.
