Secondary monitor shuts off at what time dell Inspiron laptop close

I have a novel dell Inspiron laptop. I acquired a Keningston docking station. The whole thing works very well if my workstation lid is open, but if I shut off the workstation lid, I drop the display on the screen linked to the docking station. How can I shut off the laptop and keep the display on the screen showing. I never saw this kind of problem before. That’s why I am not able to solve this problem. Any help will be really valued.

I think I can solve your problem, for that for that you have to follow the instruction which given below.
    • You have to enter in control panel power alternatives on shut the lid link on the left choose do not anything on every of the alternative battery or plugged in.
    • Take password defense off
    • Then apply settings
    • And then shut your workstation wait for ten sec.
    • And then shift your mouse around.
    • You are receiving off easier than I did.

I read your problem on the same forum and then I discuses the senior because I don’t know many more about this kind of option. And as per his recommendation I would like to suggest you that had you verified all the settings of graphics driver software means your dell software which may be installed. If not then check it first. May be possible there is some mistakes happened through you by mystically. Also have a look at the BIOS alternatives.

If you got any proper solution then its ok for you otherwise you have to make contact with the man for the support in dell. Or you can search this kind of problem on the internet. There is many thing are available (I guess). And firs you have to search on any official site before going to here and there. May be possible you will get solution just after the call which you can make to contact with dell supportive team. If you get any better solution then post it on the same forum which will be helpful for any other.
