Unable to run Dell XPS 420 webcam manager

I just got a new Dell XPS 420 with a SP2309W monitor with integrated webcam. When I attempt to sprint the Dell Webcam Manager, I obtain an error note demonstrating that the webcam driver is not installed. I installed the webcam software from the Dell integrated, so not confident what is happening. The webcam appears to work as soon as access all the way through Dell Webcam Central. Is this a difficulty of compatibility among the new monitor and the Administrator of the webcam that Dell has not previously endeavor?

Even I am using this same monitor and with this you will get one software CD including web cam software. You can directly install this software from this CD. I am not facing any problem with this.

Thanks for the reply. I download and install the latest software and drivers for the webcam, but I'm still experiencing the same problem. Yes, the USB cable is connected. As I said, the webcam works with some characteristics of Central Webcam. But through Webcam Manager Reports driver is not installed, which of path it is. I tried reinstalling the software that come up to with it, but still the similar difficulty. I'm dissatisfied no one from Dell has stepped up through the entire proposition. Browsing all the way through the forums, I observe that others are having the same or similar problems.

Hello I am facing similar kind of problem. I try all steps which is maintained in above post but still I am not able not solve this problem. Even I try to install it from the CD which comes with the dell monitor but still I am unable to install that it shoes me an error. Even USB cable is connected with my computer and to the monitor but still I am getting this error. I try to find about it on internet but no success. I am out of ideas now. Please help me to solve this. Thank you.

I go after your advice and I delete all existing webcam software, installing the monitor driver which I get from dell website, after that I reinstall the webcam software from same web site. Earlier to my deleting all webcam software, there come into view to be two separate applications Webcam Central and Webcam Manager. At the moment, I only have Webcam Central which was reinstalled from the dell website software; however I no longer comprise Webcam Manager. What is the dissimilarity, and do I require Webcam Manager?
