How to fax with um175 modem

im trying to send fax from my hp laptop via a um175 modem on verizon wireless. keep getting unable to initialize modem, have no landline. how can i make this work?

i also have fos at home..but no landline phone

Maximum number of users are facing the same issue. It can be due to blockage from verizon site or some incompatibility matter with Windows. For this you can try a manual setup for the fax. It works most of the time if the modem is properly installed in the system. You can try some kind of fax sending software. But in most cases there is no success.
