Video updates For Nokia E7

I have just got the new phone of the Nokia E7 and it seems that Nokia E7 is not supporting the subtitles or the files which are of the format of the .MKV files like N8 is having. I have no idea that what is basically the issue with it and are there going to be an updates for the videos like the one which was there for phones of the Nokia N8, or it is that we are going to be left without the .sub & .mkv compatibility files. And also it is that I just want to know that whether the updates are being made possible in the phone of the Nokia E7. As I wanted to play the files that are of the format of the .mkv and also the file format of .sub in it. Please help me out with this issue and provide me a proper solution for this.

I have heard that till now the .MKV files has been added to the system of the phones but not the .SUB files has been added to the system that you are using.
