Nokia N900: Running Nitdroid through eMMC

I have many issues but not sure that they are specific to running from eMMC but it has increase after running from the eMMC for the Nitdroid.
    • Some app does not start up after installing.
    • Data connection from time to time doesn't start after locking screen.
    • Issue with data connection if wifi remains on during shutting down.

I installed to eMMC by flashing the rescue kernel. So is there any proper way to do or is there any proper to install it so please reply me on this post.

    • You will require to start all repositories through the App manager (Extras-testing, Extras-devel, extras along with default Nokia)
    • Install Leafpad from the App manager and be convinced that you gain the root access
    • Shut down the Application manager, start the x Terminal and try to run the following commands:
    Code:
    root
    apt-get update
    apt-get install nitdroid-installer
    y
y again if it asks again.
    • After the nitdroid-installer documents is installed, close X Terminal and restart the device.

You need to install newer installer. The file known as nitdroid-installer_0.2.7_armel.deb package

    1. Copy nitdro id-installer_0.2.7 inside the N900 and start it through the App manager (for no formatting ext3 stuck hiccup), it will distinguish it as a little update for your installer that you downloaded as well as installed in the subsequent step.
    2. Or Copy it and run
    Code:
    sudo dpkg -i nitdroid-installer_0.2.7_armel.deb
Open X Terminal, and perform the following commands:
    Code:
    root
    nitdroid
    YES
After NITDroid completes the installation (15 minutes on 85kb/s download speed) don't restart reboot your phone to NITDroid! select the drop down top menu in X Terminal and choose the new and shut the one previous to (the one that said NITDroid was successfully installed).

If you don’t have any Microsd card to install, so the above method won’t help you out:

    Code:
Copy downloaded files to MyDocuments .
Open x-term and carry out following commands:
    	sudo gainroot
    	mkdir /and
    	mount /home /and
    	apt-get install multiboot multiboot-kernel-power bzip2
            cd /home/usr1/MyDocs
    	bzip2 -d NitDroid-0.0.8-Popov.tar.bz2
    	cd /and
    	tar xvf /home/usr1/MyDocs/NitDroid-0.0.8-Popov.tar
    	dpkg -i /home/usr1/MyDocs/nitdroid-kernel-2.6.28-06_final1_armel.deb
    	umount /

Re: Nokia N900: Running Nitdroid through eMMC

Let’s suppose you have installed or updated to most recent kernel-power after installing NITDroid. Note: kernel-power is well-matched with multi boot starting from version 39.
    1. Be confident you have edition 39 or later installed.
    2. you have the zImage file from kernel-power. It move toward in an voluntary package kernel-power-boot img. If in doubt, do this:
    apt-get install kernel-power-bootimg kernel-power-modules
Now you can moreover yourself change the .item file, or you can allow multiboot handle it automatically:
    apt-get install multiboot-kernel-power
This will do the whole thing for you
