Re: 4G Android with Verizon network

Verizon is not the only U.S. company which is preparing the launch of a new 4G phone at CES 2011. Sprint also has - as expected, Sprint's new phone is the HTC Shift Evo 4G, formerly known as HTC Knight and Speedy. HTC will launch the first 4G smart phone running on Verizon's LTE network that Big Red has launched not long ago. So if you are looking forward for Android phone on Verizon then you have to wait little more as this will be coming this year only.

The next CES will be interesting from the point of view of the mobile industry. Verizon has tweeted today that Android LTE devices will be presenting on 6 January during CES. In addition, there were rumors that one of the devices will be launched by HTC. But nothing was confirmed. It is now clear that we will see the first Android phones LTE in a couple of weeks.Of course, it remains unclear when it really hit the market, but Verizon is interested in doing so "as soon as possible after the official announcement."

Re: 4G Android with Verizon network

Verizon launched its 4G network in December, but so far the operator has only sold cards for laptops that use the network technology LTE (Long Term Evolution) to capitalize on the advantages of 4G. On Thursday afternoon is scheduled a press conference in which they are expected to submit the new devices, even if you know some details about them, as the names of the manufacturers of the four smartphones: HTC, LG Electronics, Motorola and Samsung Electronics. For several weeks, is also known that LG unveiled at CES a smartphone with dual-core processor in the show could be the HTC Thunderbolt or the first tablet of Motorola, the Honeycomb, which is also expected to work with the 4G network Verizon. All these devices use the Google Android operating system.

Re: 4G Android with Verizon network

Verizon (formerly Bell Atlantic Corporation) is a major U.S. telecommunications company, active in the mobile market in the USA. Verizon is about to launch 4G in 30 major U.S. cities. The announced rate is between 5 and 12 Mbps download. This information is to be taken lightly since it is informal. The company is on track to deliver up to 100 million connections by the end of the year.
