It is possible if you can find the appropriate strip for that. The strip connects to the driver to the internal circuit and then you can use the same. But that is hard to find. I am not sure the place where you can locate the same. While the old strip in Santa Rosa will not able to identify the Super Drive. There is an slot provide for the Super drive if you can locate that properly.
Thx! Sounds difficult. So i will buy an external drive and hope, it will work finer than the old one.
