Unable to put photos with contacts on my iphone 4

I am using an iphone 4 and getting a problem when i am trying to put photos with contacts on my iphone 4. When i try to associate the photos with my contacts, then it saves fine. But after some time when i return to the contact, then i am to see the photo which i have assigned to that contact. What is the reason for this problem? I have never faced such problem before on my device. Does anyone have any solution regarding this issue? Please try to help me out. Your suggestion will be appreciated. Thanks.

I am using an iphone 3G and recently i have updated it to iOS 4. After doing this update, even i am also getting the same issue on my iphone. When i try to add a photo to any of my contacts, then it perfectly gets saved up. But the problem starts, when i try to open the contact and view the photo. Here i am not able to see any photo saved with my contact. Is there anyone who can provide me the solution for solving this issue? I will recommend you to do the following things-

First go to the Address Book in your iphone.
Then try to cut the photo and then reinsert it.
After doing that now click on set button.
Now again try to open the photo and again you need to click on the set button.
Once you are done with this, now you need to close the Address Book.

I think that doing this will help you in solving your problem.

I am also getting the same problem with my iphone 4. But i am having the problem only with the main camera. I am able to add photo taken from the front camera and it is working fine. When i try to add photo from the main camera, then the problem starts. Is there anyone who is having some idea relate with this issue. Please do suggest me your solution. I have tried to implement the solution which is provided above, but of no use. Thanks

Thanks for the reply. I have tried your solution and it has really solved my problem. After doing that now i am able to see the saved photo with my contacts on my iphone. I was really a wonderful solution as it helped me in getting my problem being solved out. I would once again like to thank you for your king support.
